Carol H. Dart, 76, Sturgeon Bay, died on Nov. 10, 2013. She was born on July 10, 1937, in Ellison Bay to Raymond and Florence (Hawkey) Herdina. On Oct. 6, 1956, she married Gerald Dart in Brussels. He preceded her in death on Oct. 20, 2003. She and her husband farmed in the Town of Gardner for many years. Carol was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend.
Survivors include her son, David (Kris) Dart, Sturgeon Bay; 6 grandchildren, Lisa LaLuzerne, DePere; David Dart II, Sturgeon Bay; Kris (Delphine) LaLuzerne, Sturgeon Bay, and Jason (Lori) Dart, New Franken; Heather (Joshua) Kipp, Sturgeon Bay; Alicia Kennedy-Dart, Green Bay; 2 great-granddaughters, Addison and Hayden; 1 step-granddaughter, Andrea Michalak; 1 step-grandson, Ethan Nylok; 4 brothers, Russell (Pat) Herdina, Wausau; Robert (Mary) Herdina, Sturgeon Bay; George (Barb) Herdina, Sturgeon Bay; Kenneth Herdina, California. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Debra LaLuzerne, 2 brothers, Phil and James; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Julius and Beulah Dart, and brother-in-law, Dennis Massart.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, Nov. 15, 2013, at St. Francis and St. Mary Parish in Brussels with the Rev. Anthony Birdsall and Deacon Paul Zenefski officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4-8:00 p.m. at the Forbes Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay and at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. A wake service is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
