James R. Darrah, 57, general superintendent of Ryan Construction Co., and a Janesville resident eight years, died this morning in his home, 1212 Clark St. He was a member of the board of directors of the Waterford Excavating Co., Milwaukee. For more than 30 years he was associated with the Ryan Construction Co. Born Oct. 15, 1908, in Lafayette County, Wis., he was the son of John and Rose Finley Darrah. He married Lucille Leahy June 28, 1938, in Immaculate Conception Church, Truman, Wis. Mr. Darrah was a member of St. John Vianney Holy Name Society and the Knights of Columbus. Surviving are his wife; two sons and three daughters. His parents predeceased him. Burial will be In Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
