They moved to a farm in Bonanza [Klamath Co., Oregon] and then, in December 1943, they moved to the Applegate Valley [Jackson Co., Oregon].
In 1949, they sold their property and moved to a farm where the Applegate Dam is now. They lived in Meridian, Idaho, and Fort Dick, Calif., before moving to Swan Lake [Bannock Co., Idaho], where they built a home and a grain farm. They lived and worked there for 12 years before returning to Bonanza, Oregon.
They later moved to a 3 acre property on the Applegate Highway, not far from Provolt.
After her husband died, she continued to live and work there until 2007, when she moved to Grants Pass.
