At about age 15, Mary Ida moved with her parents from Ontario, Canada, to the USA. There were more moves to come (dates are approximate) -- Kansas (1885), Wisconsin (1895), Oklahoma (1900), and California (at her passing in 1947).

Mary Ida predeceased her husband John Jesse Clemmer by about 10 years. They are both laid to rest in the same Forest Lawn Memorial Park (Glendale) burial plot.
