Mary Kovalchick Danyi, 87, of Millerton, died April 9, 1995 in Great Barrington, Mass. A local resident since 1943, she had previously lived in New Jersey. Born Oct. 7, 1907 in Shenandoah, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Peter and Zuzanna Popadick Kovalchick. On September 29, 1935 in Astoria, she married Stephen W. Danyi, who predeceased her January 27, 1985. Three brothers also predeceased her. Mrs. Danyi is survived by one cousin and several nieces and nephews.
