Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Wallace William Dansie, age 91, passed away peacefully April 27, 1991, in Holladay.

Wallace was born March 26, 1900 , in Salt Lake City Utah, the son of Benjamin Wilcox and Katie Ann Taylor Dansie. He married Helga Magdiel on March 1, 1928 in the Salt Lake Temple. She preceded him in death on January 9, 1977. He married Amy Wilkinson McKenzie on September 8, 1977 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He attended the University of Utah and became a Certified Public Accountant, at one time serving as President of the Utah C.P.A. Association. He was employed as Chief Auditor of the Utah State Tax Commission and was instrumental in implementing a new tax structure. Later he was Secretary/Treasurer of Equity Oil Company. He was a High Priest in the LDS Church, serving in various church capacities, including ward financial clerk, and was currently a member of the Holladay First Ward. Wallace was a kind and loving individual who was respected and admired by all who knew him. His passing saddens our hearts and leaves a great void in our lives.

Survivors include his wife Amy; one daughter and three sons, Jacqueline D. (husband Rex) Moulton, Lynn W. Dansie, daughter-in-law, Merlene W. Dansie, Warren M. (wife Kristina) Dansie, all of Salt Lake, Byron R. (wife Marcia) Dansie, San Jose, Calif.; step-son, Joseph (wife Tina) McKenzie, Escondido, Calif., and step-daughter, Margery Hanson, Salt Lake; 22 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 30, 1991 , 1:00 PM, at the Holladay First Ward, 4568 South Holladay Blvd. (Approx. 2150 E.), with Bishop Clinton Holmes officiating. Friends may call Monday from 6 to 8 PM at the Holbrook Funeral Chapel, 3251 South 2300 East, and at the church on Tuesday for one hour prior to the services. Interment: Salt Lake City Cemetery. Funeral Directors: The Holbrook Funeral Chapel.
