From her Obituary (Washington Observer-Reporter, Jan. 27, 1999):
Frances O. Danley Red Cross volunteer for 22 years Frances O. Danley, 83, of Linden Road, Canonsburg, died at 11:35 p.m. Monday, January 25, 1999, in Allegheny University Hospitals-Canonsburg. She was born November 28, 1915, in Canonsburg, a daughter of Anthony and Antonina Lis Osinski. Mrs. Danley was lifelong resident of Canonsburg. She was member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Canonsburg, where she was a member of the Christian Mothers and Guild. Mrs. Danley was a Red Cross volunteer at the hospital for 22 years. She was a former chairman of the Democratic Women's Club, a former member of the Canonsburg Public Library Board and a former chairman of the Canonsburg Fourth of July Committee. Mrs. Danley was a graduate of Mason Felix Beauty School of Pittsburgh. She was formerly employed at Canonsburg Pottery and Continental Can Co., both of Canonsburg. On September 24, 1941, in St. Genevieve Roman Catholic Church, Canonsburg, she married William T. Danley, who died August 4, 1990. Surviving are two sons, William A. Danley of Pittsburgh and J. Mark Danley of Portland, Maine; two daughters, Toni Leone of Gorham, Maine, and Mary Hixon of Canonsburg; two sisters, Lorraine Patrene and Mary Anne Gayarski, both of Canonsburg; six grandchildren, William F., Patrick and Michael Danley, Jason Leone and Summer and Allison Hixon; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased is a sister, Bernadine Licht.
 
 
Note: A wonderful Mom. She had a self-deprecating way about herself , sometimes. She was also a DEMOCRAT first and foremost, passing on her firey libralism to her kids who appreciate it and who keep it in practice every day.
