Dr. Arnold Dankner, an allergist and internist for many years in St. Louis, died at his home in Clayton. He was 72.
Since 1953, Dr. Dankner was in private practice here. He had been an associate clinical professor at Washington University since the 1950s.
He was on the staff at St. Luke's Hospital in Chesterfield, St. John's Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur and the former Barnes and Jewish hospitals, now Barnes-Jewish Hospital; and at Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital. He was also chief of the allergy department at the former Jewish Hospital.
He was born and reared in St. Louis. He earned his bachelor's and medical degrees from Washington University and served as a captain in the Air Force.
