Lillian Danielson Baldwin, 82, of 2339 Aragon St., died Saturday afternoon in Lynchburg General Hospital, after a short illness. she was the widow of Samuel M. Baldwin.
Born in Milaca, Minn., Feb. 3, 1904, she was a daughter of the late Charles Danielson and Elna Carlson Danielson. She was a member of Piney Ridge United Methodist Church in Pamplin.
She is survived by two sons, Monroe G. Baldwin Sr., Lynchburg and Samuel L. Baldwin, Dillwyn; six daughters, Edna Mitchell and Peral Cyrus and Mrs. Kenneth (Doris) Baldwin, all of Lynchburg, Mrs. John (Ruby) Deacon, Evington, Mrs. Gene (Edith) Davis Sr., Madison Heights and Mrs. Jack (Jacqueline) Bandy, Jetersville; one sister, Alvilda Simunds, Corona, Calif.; 25 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Piney Ridge United Methodist Church, with burial in the church cemetery.The family will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home from 3 to 5 p.m. today and other times at the residence of Pearl Cyrus on Aragon St.
