Annie Lou (Daniels) Colson
Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Lou (Daniels) Colson, 79, of Allons, were conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 14, 1999, from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home with Bro. Marlon Winningham officiating. Burial was in St. John Cemetery with Livingston Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Colson, a homemaker, died Tuesday, October 12, 1999, at Livingston Regional Hospital.
Born February 3, 1920, in Clay County, she was the daughter of the late Robert Estes and Bessie (Collins) Daniels. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Julian Haltie Colson; a son, George Colson; a brother, Bud Daniels; and a twin sister, Nannie Colson.
She was a member of Free Communion Church of Christ.
Survivors include three daughters, Tina Langford, Celina, and Claudine Vaughn and Betty Johnson, both of Allons; five sons, James Colson, Edward Colson, Doyle Colson, Haskel Colson, and Raymond Colson, all of Allons; four sisters, Rosie Eller and Edna Pearl Sherfield, both of Cookeville; Jewell Dean Phillips, Bridge City, TX, and Dean Riddle, Detroit, MI; 21 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; three special friends, Dean Colson, Evelyn Allred, and Orlan Cyphers; and a very special friend, Cora Waddle.
Pallbearers were grandchildren.
