Ethel M. Allard, 87, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2009, in Newark, NY. She was the wife of Elbert Allard, who predeceased her in 2000. She was also predeceased by a son, Douglas Allard; three sisters, Irene Stiles, Mildred Taylor and Frances Daniels; and two brothers, Harold Daniels and Burton Daniels. Ethel is survived by her children, Pearl (Leon) Warner, LeRoy (Shirley) McNair, Daniel (Diana) McNair, Robert (Peggy) McNair, Thomas (Angie) McNair and Nancy (Edward) Jinks; stepchildren, Jean (Clarence) Rogers, Shirley (Ken) Finch, Patricia (Ronald) Buckler and Gloria Darpino; foster children, Paul Miller, Michael (Kimberly) Miller, Dennis (Teri) Evans; a brother, Kenneth Daniels; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Ethel's family was the center of her life.
A Funeral Service for Ethel M. Allard will be held 2:00 p.m. at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, 25 Susquehanna Avenue, Hallstead, PA, Monday, October 12, 2009. Interment will be in Lawsville Cemetery, Montrose, PA. The family will receive callers at the funeral home on Monday from 12 noon until the start of the service. Should friends so desire, memorial donations in remembrance of Ethel Allard may be made to the Fairville Presbyterian Church or to the Fairville Volunteer Ambulance, both at Route 88 North, Newark, NY 14513.
