Barbara Wilson Daniell born to Richard W. and Cora Correll Wilson of San Antonio, died, Thursday, April 1, 2010 at age 78. Barbara was a gentle soul who was loved by all who met her. There was not a mean bone in her body. She graduated from St. Mary's Hall in 1950 and Sweet Briar College in 1954. Barbara was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution. She had a colorful career in sales, selling everything from uniforms to cosmetics to coffee makers. She loved her home that her father built in 1937 and where she resided for nearly 70 years of her life. She was also a 3rd generation only child on her mother's side. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard W and Cora Correll Wilson. She is survived by her son, James RW and wife, Kelly of San Antonio, grandchildren, J.R. Wilson Daniell, Jr, Kelly Corinne Daniell and Amy Elizabeth Daniell. She will be missed especially also by her friend and companion of 10 years and fiancé Phillips Huck. The family would also like to thank Cynthia Tyrone for her years of service to Mom. The family requests that in lieu of flowers to make a donation to the charity of your choice or to First Presbyterian Church, Mission Road Ministries or The Alamo Heights School Foundation.
