Ruby Virginia Daniell Cardell was born on June 14, 1914 to Arthur Clyde Daniel and Alice Carolyn Stroud Daniel. She was a native of Mableton, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Mableton. Mrs Ruby and her late husband, John Edward Cardell Sr. built and managed the the Floyd Road Shopette, which they sold in 1976. Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn Stanley of Milledgeville; her sister, Bobbie Payne of Peachtree City; five grandchildren, Donna and husband Deryl Canady, LeAnne Allen, Edward and wife Deanna Stanley, Sabrina and husband Lanier Sailors, William and wife Denise Stanley; ten great grandchildren and two great great grandsons, many nieces and nephews. Internment will be in Davis Cemetery in Austell.
