FORT WORTH -- Ernestine Daniel Wigfall, 79, of FT. Worth, on September 21, 2006, in the early hours of the morning, she was ushered from this earthly life into eternal life.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Abilene City Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 - 8:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
Ernestine was born on January 12, 1927 in Ennis to Charlie and Era Daniel. They moved to Abilene when she was very young, living there until 1992. She attended Abilene public schools. She worked as a domestic in private homes, a mental health worker, and a waitress at the Abilene Country Club. She accepted Jesus as her savior as a young girl. In 1987 she rededicated her life to Christ and was a member of Holiday Hills Baptist Church until she moved to Electra in 1992. While there, she was a faithful member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Ernestine was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Juvenia Bolden, her brothers Harold and Rayford Daniel, her son Charles Eugene Brown, her grandson Joseph Ancrum, and her nephew Larry Don Daniel.
She will be lovingly remembered by her four remaining daughters, Harlene Wigfall Coffer and husband Joe, of Electra, Brenda Wigfall Jacobs, of Houston, Billie Wigfall Wright and husband Ray, of North Carolina, and Jo Ann Small Jones and husband Tony, of FT. Worth, ten grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
