COLORADO CITY (RNS) -Mrs. Lotta Daniel, 88, former Abilene resident who had lived in Colorado City for the past year died at 3:40 p.m. Sunday in Root Memorial Hospital. Graveside rites were at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Abilene with the Rev H B Terry pastor of Temple Baptist Church officiating.
Born Lotta Harris in Callahan County she married T. A. Daniel in Abilene in 1905. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Daniel was the (granddaughter)* daughter of a former governor of Tennessee I. G. Harris, Sr. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include two nephews I G Humphreys of Abilene and Cummins Harris of Clyde and one niece Mrs. T. J. Humphreys of Colorado City.
