She was the daughter of Pairlee (Hammond) and James E. Daniel. She was the wife of Amos Bertram, who died in 1927. Amos's KY Death Certificate states his body was taken to Bethesda, Kentucky for burial on April 1, 1927, so it is believed he was buried beside Louisa but his grave is unmarked. Hers reads only "Louisie Bertram ... 1889 - 1923" on a metal marker engraved with dots. They were the parents of several children. Amos died of pulmonary tuberculosis so it is possible that is also what caused Louisa's death at age 34.
