Mrs. Catherine Meeker Daniel of Augusta, Ga., wife of the late A.W. 'Hoss' Daniel, entered into rest on Wedneday, March 26, 2008, in Augusta.
Mrs. Daniel was preceded in death by her husband in 2002; a sister, Arlene Zittrouer; and brothers, Alvin Meeker and John L. Meeker.
Mrs. Daniel, the daughter of the late Gilford Fred and Lillian Evans Greiner Meeker, was a native of Chatham County, Ga., but had lived most of her life in Waynesboro. She was a homemaker and a member of Botsford Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, A.W. and Nancy Daniel, Jr. of Waynesboro; daughters and son-in-law, Arlene Daniel of Augusta and Carole and Jerry Bedichek of Augusta; a sister, Carolyn Bell of Augusta; six grandchildren, Jessica Smith, Adam Daniel and Austin Daniel, Troy Bedichek, Dennis Bedichek and Jeremy Bedichek; four great grandchildren; as well as a number of nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Elizabeth Harris.
