Ann B. Clemens Dana

ROY I'm going to meet my sweetheart and we're going to a never ending party.

I passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2007 with all of my family by my side. I was born January 28, 1926 to Jim and Gertrude Clemens in Marshfield, MO. In February 1944, at the age of 18, I moved to Salt Lake City where I worked at HAFB for 1 years. In 1945 I was transferred to the Clearfield Navy Base where I worked and learned how to drive a fork lift. It was during this time, on a blind date, I met my sweetheart of 52 years, Wayne Dana and I moved to Ogden. During the Korean War, I worked at Defense Depot Ogden driving a fork lift and loaded flat bed trucks. In 1971, I started working for the Ogden City School lunch program where I retired after 33 years.

During my retirement I have enjoyed having coffee with the guys in the mornings at the Ogden Airport and playing Pinochle in the afternoons with my friends at the Riverdale Senior Center. I have shared many wonderful times with my three children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Tending my great-granddaughter Kaylee has been such a joyous time. Thank you to her mother Angie, who has always taken the time to do my fingernails. I also want to thank my three children for always taking care of me during my illnesses. One last but not least, thank you to my very special friend for always being there.

I am survived by my three children, Gary (Dianne) Dana, Roy, Debbie (Bob) Charon, Clinton and Sally (Paul) Martin, Roy. Six grandchildren, Angie (Jason) Kinnersley, Adam (Jana) Ogden, Autumn (Rich) Gittins, Sarah (Jason) Hamer, Caryn (Jeremy) Ball and Robert Dana. Seven great-grandchildren, Tieler, Micky, Wyatt, Emma Ann, Kaylee, Taylor and Rianne. I am also survived by two sisters, Amanda Hollingshead, Topeka, KS and Rosalie Bryant, Bolivar, MO. Sister-in-law Dorothy Clemens, Springfield, MO and brother-in-law Allen Olivares, San Luis Obispo, CA, also many nieces and nephews.

I was preceded in death by my mom and dad; husband Wayne; granddaughter Tami Glismann; and siblings, Bill Clemens, Anchorage, AK, John D. Clemens, Roswell, NM, Alveretta Jenkins, Springfield, MO, Tom Clemens, Springfield, MO, Jane Kissner, Coshocton, OH, Nina Kittrell, Springfield, MO, Mary Kensinger, Springfield, MO, Nancy Olivares, San Luis Obispo, CA June Broyles, Lebanon, MO, Sammy McKenzie, Kurtsville, MO and infant twin brothers Lawrence and Leonard.
