SILSBEE, Texas -- Mrs. Gloria Dampier Cole, 41, died Feb. 26 at home. She was a native of Port Wentworth, Ga., and lived here most of her life prior to moving to Silsbee five years ago.
She was a member of Cental Baptist Church in Buna, Texas, where she was a member of the choir. She was a homemaker.

SURVIVORS: her husband, David Cole of Silsbee; a son and daughter-in-law, Marcus and Jamee Dampier of Port Wentworth; a daughter, Rachel Dampier of Port Wentworth; two sisters, Linda Seiler of Jacksonville, Fla., and Deneen Patrick of Savannah, Ga.; four brothers, Kenneth Dampier of Rincon, and Hugh, Barry and Donnie Dampier, all of Savannah; a granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Fountain Funeral Home, burial in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens Cemetery in Savannah. -Savannah Now, Feb 2000
