Athens, AL - Jerome "P. Rooney" Daly, 52, of Athens, died Friday at his home.
A graveside service was to be today at Roselawn Cemetery with the Rev. Don Smitherman officiating and McConnell Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Daly was a 1962 graduate of Elkmont High School and a graduate of Troy State University.
Survivors include four brothers, Billy "Nit" Daly of Elkmont, John Daly, Joe Daly and Jerry Daly, all of Athens; eight sisters, Virginia College of Centerville, Ohio, Betty Willis of Elkmont, Sue Aycock, Anita Daly, Peggy Ghee, all of Decatur, Wilma Austin, Jane Powers and Martha Daly, all of Athens; 23 nieces and nephews and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
