Mary, known to others as Marie passed away from Tuberculosis, or as it was told when her children were very young. When she passed away, her husband Walter, did not get to go to his wifes funeral because the Mormon Church that were helping with the funeral arrangements said that there was no room in their car for him and his children, so they ended up having to stay home and not seeing her getting buried.
She has not had a stone since she was buried so her granddaughter Marlene (who she had never met because she died way before Marlene was born) purchased a stone for her and it was placed April of 2017.
