Do not confuse her with the Julia M. Dakin who lived in Mason City, Iowa.

There is some indication that she died on 28 August 1932 at the Portage County Home, however this has not been proven.
Appears to have been an "inmate" of the Portage County Home.
She died after March 14, 1932 and before 1 October 1932
Amos R. Dakins was born in Canada, October 12, 1842, resided in Stevens Point, Wisconsin; he married Julia Persons, and had eleven children, as follows: Ida, Mrs. Charles Ells; Etta, Mrs. Irving Dakins; Arthur, who died in infancy; Louis, Nellie, Lottie, Kittie, Agnes, Cora, Nina and Hazel.

Note: on 13 August 2012 Volunteer photographer reported: I searched the entire cemetery and could not find the grave - We found a lot of Dakins, but not Julia, sorry.
