| Birth: | Aug. 20, 1912 | | Death: | Mar. 6, 2008 |  Irma Margaret Daily Bennett, 95, of Mattoon, passed away at 5:20 p.m. Thursday, March 6, 2008, at Odd Fellow-Rebekah Home, Mattoon.
Funeral services honoring her life will begin at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Schilling Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Chanceler officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation for family and friends will be from noon until service time Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Odd Fellow-Rebekah Home in Mattoon.
Irma was born Aug. 20, 1912, in Coles County, a daughter of William and Ida Cobb Daily. She married Hugh E. Bennett April 28, 1934. He passed away May 30, 1974. She also was preceded in death by two sisters, three half sisters and four half brothers. I
rma was a retired supply clerk at the former Mattoon Memorial Hospital and also worked as a seamstress and was a Bible teacher in various Pentecostal churches. She was a member of Faith Fellowship Chapel in Mattoon.
Survivors include her three sons, Everett Bennett of Humboldt, David Bennett and wife Judy of Effingham and Don Bennett and wife Shirley of Bushnell, Fla.; three grandchildren, Terry Green of Palm Harbor, Fla., Lori Daniels of Mattoon and Jeff Bennett of St. Joseph; six great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
