Paulette Catherine Crays, 69, died Nov. 10, 2015, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born Jan. 19, 1946, in Evanston, Ill., to Matthias and Corlise (Thielke) Dahm.

She worked for the Buhler School District office in accounts payable for many years. On Oct. 20, 1966, she married James E. Crays in Chicago, Ill. He died in the spring of 1994. Survivors include: son, Matthew Crays of Buhler; daughters, Michele Tritsch of Tulsa, Okla., Julie Miller and husband Sean of Great Bend; a stepson, Chris Fields of Sparks, Nev.; grandson, Nathan Crays of Buhler; granddaughter, Mya Tritsch of Hutchinson; brothers, Arthur Dahm and wife Susan of Wellington, Fla., Joe Dahm and wife Diane of Grayslake, Ill.; sisters, Christine Dahm of Peru, Ill., Beverly (Dahm) Malooley of Spring Valley, Ill., Patty (Dahm) Murray and husband John of Milledgeville, Ill.; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her parents and her husband.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, 2015, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Matt Stafford presiding. Burial will be at 12:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16, 2015, in the Fort Scott National Cemetery, Fort Scott, with Reverend Don Flanner presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, with the family to receive friends prior to the service from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at Elliott Mortuary. Memorials may be made to Hospice House, Hutchinson, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
