Rural Wingate resident, Age 88. Died at Lane House Nursing Home.

Daughter of Philip and Kate Dahlberg.
Married David V. Coon November 11, 1944. He survives.
Also surviving are sons David V. (Luann) II, Robert J. (Margaret) and William J. (Joyce) Coon; daughters Lynn Larson and Catherine P. (Matt) Usher; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 5 siblings and a great-granddaughter, Ava G. Doane.

She attended Washington Park High School in Racine.
She last worked in the Deli at Kroger on Darlington Ave., retiring to spend time with her family.

She was a 50-year member of Order of the Eastern Star, New Richmond Chapter where she was a Past Matron and Shawnee Lodge, until she had to cease due to health. She was a member of Sweet Adelines in Wisconsin, and of the Left-Footed Indians Square Dance club in Illinois.

Memorial service 4pm, Saturday, April 5 at Family and Friends Funeral Home, Wingate, with Pastor Alan Goff officiating. Calling 2pm until time of service.
On July 8, 2017, David and Marilyn will be taken by carriage with Tymeless Clydesdales from the family homestead to the Oakland Cemetery, where they will be inurned.
