Funeral services for Otto Steve Dahl, 66, of Rt. 6, Lufkin, were held Tuesday in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. A. B. McBride officiated and interment followed in the Hillcrest Cemetery.
Mr. Dahl died in a Houston hospital Sunday after a long illness. He was born in South Dakota on Jan. 10, 1903. A former resident of Houston, he had lived in Lufkin for 3 years. He was a retired accountant for American Express Company, a veteran of World War II with 19 years of service and a member of the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Mrs. Lewis Wood and Mrs. Charles B. Hughes, both of Houston; 3 brothers and sisters; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
