He was a commander of the American Legion Post 233 and member of Highland Grange 248.
He is survived by his wife Estella (Tashro) Dahill whom he married in 1942 in Whately, MA; three sons Kenneth who is stationed with the Army in Japan, Edward and Gary both of Huntington; daughter Donna of Huntington; two sisters Isabelle Dahill and Dorothy Otto both of Northampton; and four grandchildren.
Burial is in Mtn View Cemetery.
