Helen F. Curtis, 96, of Farmer City died June 20, 2001 at Jackson Heights Nursing Home, Farmer City. Graveside services were held June 23 at Maple Grove Cemetery. Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Farmer City, was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Curtis was born July 10, 1904 at Pearl IL, daughter of George F. and Grace E. Primmer Dafoe. She married Roger J. Curtis, March 12, 1925 at Tuscola. He died December 31, 1991. Surviving are daughters: Vera Mabis, Farmer City; Alma Howland, White Heath; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, a great-grandson, a sister and brother.
Mrs. Curtis was a member of the United Methodist Church in Farmer City. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or the Jackson Heights Nursing Home.
