TARBORO - Arkie DeVane Andrews, 98, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2013.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, January 5, at 11:30 am at Trinity Baptist Church with Dr. Phillip Dietz officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
Arkie was preceded in death by her husband, Gus Andrews, Sr., and a son-in-law, Lyn Lewis.
She is survived by a loving family including; Daughters; Judy Lewis Silveri, and husband, Tony, of Tarboro Beverly Sessoms, and husband, Freeman, of Tarboro Son; Gus Andrews, Jr., and wife, Barbara, of Salisbury
Grandchildren; Lyn Lewis, Jr., and wife, Sherri, of Tarboro Rose Taylor, and husband, Eugene, of Tarboro Gus Andrews, III, and wife, Caroline, of Midlothian, VA Ashley Andrews, of Salisbury David Sessoms, and wife, Andrea, of Tarboro Greg Sessoms, and wife, Elizabeth, of Tarboro And 13 Great-Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Edgecombe County Veterans' Museum, P.O. Box 115, Tarboro, NC 27886.
The family will receive friends at Trinity Baptist Church on Saturday from 10:30-11:00 am, and other times at the home of Judy Silveri, 2003 Clifton Ridge Dr., Tarboro.
