D'ANGELO - Angele (Carabillo), aged 80, of Monroe Township, NJ, died on June 11, 2013 at the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro, NJ.

Born in New York City, Mrs. D'Angelo lived in East Rockaway, NY for 42 years before moving to the Greenbriar at Whittingham community in Monroe Twp. in 2000.

Mrs. D'Angelo was a Professor of Pharmacy and the Dean of St. John's Univ. School of Pharmacy, Queens, NY. She retired from St. John's in 1990 to become the editor and chief of the 'US Pharmacist', a national pharmacy publication, until her retirement in 2003.

She held her Master's Degree in Pharmaceutical Administration and an honorary Ph.D. from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy. Mrs. D'Angelo was the first woman appointed to the NY State Board of Pharmacy. She was a member of the American Pharmacist Assoc., the National Boards of Pharmacy, the Rho Chi Honor Society and a Lady of the Holy Sepulcher.

She is predeceased by her son Ernest, in 2007. Surviving are her husband of 59 years, Deacon Gregory D'Angelo; her sons, John (Janet) of Plainview, NY, Gregory Jr. (Janice) of Sag Harbor, NY and Gerard (Lori) of Yardley, PA; her brother, Ernest Carabillo and her five grandchildren - Andrew, Catherine, Sarah, Sofie and Shane.

Services held at the Lester Memorial Home, Jamesburg, NJ. Funeral liturgy at Immaculate Conception RC Church, Spotswood, NJ. Entombment at Holy Cross Burial Park, East Brunswick, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Immaculate Conception Church, Spotswood, NJ.
