A memorial service for Alice E. Cutshall will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Ranfranz & Vine Funeral Homes Chapel, with the Rev. Harold Peterson officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Cutshall, 89, died Monday (Jan. 5, 2009) at Saint Marys Hospital.
Alice Eugenia Webster was born Oct. 9, 1919 to John and Hilma (Quist) Webster in New Sweden Township, Nicollet County, Minn. She attended Nicollet County schools and graduated from St. Peter High School. In 1939, she married Robert Hunter. He died in 1952. She married Lyle Cutshall on May 22, 1955; Mr. Cutshall died in 1988.
She worked for Federated Insurance in Owatonna and then became a homemaker. She was a member of Homestead United Methodist Church in Rochester and enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by a son, Richard (Jean) Hunter of Rochester; three daughters, Jean Wiltsey of Rochester, Mary Holmquist of Lola, Mont., and Janet (Dave) Cobb of DePere, Wis.; four stepdaughters, Nancy Evjen of Rochester, Barbara Clappier of Pembroke Pines, Fla., Carol Nordberg of Dunnellon, Fla., and Patricia Klindworth of Rochester; 24 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents, John and Hilma (Quist) Webster; five brothers; a stepdaughter, Marian Larson; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be an hour before the service at Ranfranz & Vine Funeral Homes in Rochester.
Memorials are suggested to Sunrise Cottages.
