MEDWAY, Mass. - Marjorie W. Curtiss, 87, of Medway, Mass., died peacefully on May 27, 2013, surrounded by her family.
Born in Randolph to the late Nellie (Blaisedell) and George Wilber, she was the eldest of four children.
Marjorie attended a year of school at Bratton Stratton College in Boston, after graduating from Randolph High School. In July 1951, she married Charles Phillip Curtiss and they resided in Southborough, Mass., until their divorce. She spent most of her time caring for her family and working at the Medical Center Hospital of Vermont. She loved gardening.
She leaves her children, Pamela Jackman and husband, Daniel, of Hopedale, Mass., Mark Curtiss and wife, Joye, of Milton, and Richard Curtiss and husband, Charles, of Medway, Mass.; daughter-in-law, Kathy Curtiss of Southborough, Mass.; sisters, Elva Jean Sargeant of St. Johnsbury, and Sylvia Kogurt of Rockingham: nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son, Douglas Curtiss; granddaughter, Alicia Jackman; sister, Madeline Sanders; and nephew, Stephen Monty.
Funeral services will be private.
