Patsy Lee Curtiss, 62, Pontiac, died at 6:10 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2014, at OSF Saint Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.
Patsy was born Dec. 27, 1951, in Pontiac, a daughter of Keith Wayne and LaDonna Jeanne (Brill) Curtiss.
She is survived by two daughters, Laura Lee Keating and her husband, PJ Ringenberger and their children, Gus and Sylvi, Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., Jen Marie Murphy and her child, Ella, Pontiac; two brothers, L. Roger (Karen) Curtiss, Pontiac, and Robin R. (Kathy) Curtiss, Champaign; a sister, Linda L. (Harold) Hurt, Chenoa; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Patsy was a 1970 graduate of Pontiac Township High School.
She was employed with Schroeder Firestone in Pontiac. She retired from State Farm Insurance in 2007, and most recently had been working for the Livingston County Treasurer's office in Pontiac.
After retiring in 2007, she selflessly devoted the next several years being a wonderful mother, daughter, sister, friend and confidant. She traveled between Illinois, Colorado and Hawaii without hesitation to be where she wanted to be.
Patsy was Mimi to Gus, Ella and Sylvi; she was and forever will be their angel.
