Pearl Curtis was the daughter of William Avery and Clarissa Adelaide Morgan Curtis. She married William Alfred Johnston on June 1, 1915 in Boneta, Utah. They were the parents of Curtis William, Floyd James and Lawrence Alred Johnston. William died in 1918 and Pearl married Lester Edwin Curtis on October 30, 1922 in Boise, Idaho. They were the parents of a son, Glen Lester Curtis. Lester was killed, along with three of Pearl's siblings, in a coal mining accident. Pearl married George Bauer on December 31, 1941.
