Thelma was born April 3, 1919, at Rush Springs, Oklahoma, to Lou and Lee Curtis. She moved with the family in February, 1938, to Roswell, New Mexico where she met and married Clarence Paul Blanscet in July 1938. Thelma was a member of First Assembly of God in Roswell before moving to Midland, Texas in 1994. She is survived by her husband, Clarence Paul Blanscet, of Comanche, Texas, two daughters; Lenora Blanscet of Comanche and Wanda Gressett and her husband David of Comanche, Texas, one son; James Blanscet of McCamey, Texas, four granddaughers; Pamela Stefanov, Suzette Swords, Christy Maynard, and Dawn Fay, ten great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren, four sisters, Louetta Ogle, Royce Spencer, Nadine Wilson, Christine Jackson, four brothers; David, Dean, Tom and Conny Curtis.
Thema is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Robert and Leon Curtis and one sister Para Lee Hawthorne.
Pallbearers will be Don Stefanov, David Lee Stefonov, Alan Guendler, Jason Banks, H.D. "Stormy" Storms and Robert Lee Curtis.
