MRS. HOFFMAN DIES; RITES MONDAY AT 2
L. Velma Hoffman, 71, died at her home at 420 Second Ave. W., Thursday morning.
Mrs. Hoffman was born Jan. 22, 1899, in Iowa to Robert and Kitty Curtis. She moved with her family in 1901 to the Flathead where she received her education. In 1916 she was married to Otto Marshall in Kalispell and he preceded her in death in 1933. In March of 1934 she was married to Ray Hoffman and he preceded her in death in 1944. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, Cootiettes and World War I Auxiliary.
Mrs. Hoffman is survived by one son, Wayne Marshall of Kalispell; two daughters, Mrs. Louise Wilson of Kalispell and Cleo Norman of Missoula; two brothers, Ralph Curtis of Fairbanks, Alaska, and Raymond Curtis of Spokane; one sister, Fern True of Spokane; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hoffman have been set for Monday at 2 p.m. from the Wagener & Campbell Chapel with the Rev. Fred Paxton of the Central Christian Church officiating. Interment will follow in the Conrad Memorial Cemetery.
