Mrs. Fredrica C. Yaeck
Funeral services for Mrs. Fredrica C. Yaeck were held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Waggener & Campbell chapel by Rev. C. S. Kleckner of Central Christian church. Mrs. Ethel Gudgel sang appropriate solo selections during the service, accompanied at the organ by Mrs. J. M. Carlson. Friends acting as pallbearers were Harry Fisher, Don Trealor, Charles Conrad, C. T. Mahoney, J. L. Ward and Ralph Childs. Interment was made in the Conrad Memorial cemetery.
Fredrica Curtis was born Sept. 20, 1880, at South Hope, Ontario, Canada. When she was a child she moved to St. Thomas, N.D., where she attended grade and high school. At the age of 17 she graduated from high school and attended business college at Grand Forks, N.D., where she graduated a year later. She then entered the employ of Judges Cocran and Corless and remained until 1912 wth Chief Justice Corless.
She was married July 12, 1912, at Grand Forks, to Reinhild H. Yaeck. They made their home at Rudyard, Montana, for over 20 years and Mrs. Yaeck took an active interst in civic affairs and served in many positions of community responsibility. Due to ill health she gave up her outside work and devoted her time to her home and her aging parents. The family came to Kalispell about four years ago.
Mrs. Yaeck was a member of the Order of Eastern Star at Grand Forks and a member of the Presbyterian church.
She passed away in Kalispell Friday, November 8, 1940, at the age of 60 years.
She is survived by her husband, R. H. Yaeck, two sons Karl C. and Frederick R. Yaeck, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Curtis, 88 and 85 years old, respectively, all at home in Kalispell; one sister, Mrs. N. C. Byers, and one brother, Charles Curtis, of North Battleford, Canada.
