Funeral services for Mrs. Iva Lou Burchfield, 83, were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 3, 2004, at the Nowell-Tilghman Funeral Home Chapel in Louisville, MS. Rev. Mike Skipper officiated. Burial followed at Doty Springs Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Burchfield was retired from the school cafeteria. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Louisville, MS. Mrs. Burchfield died on Friday, July 2, 2004, at the Winston Medical Center.

Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn B. Weems of Louisville, MS; two sons, Otis Wayne Burchfield of Louisville, MS, and Larry Wade Burchfield of Kosciusko, MS; her sister, Lena Pearl Watts of Smackover, AR; her brother Doris Curtis of Meridian, MS; fifteen grandchildren; and twenty-eight great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Peyton Weems, Lee Wylie, Bo Burchfield, Terry Burchfield, George Freeman, and Scott Ray.

Nowell-Tilghman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
