Beulah M. Clark
RICHMOND, Ind. -- Beulah M. Clark, age 85, of Richmond, died Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2006, at Reid Hospital.
She was born Feb. 6, 1921, in Lancaster, Ky., to Henry and Annie Logan Curtis and had resided in this area most of her life.
Beulah and her husband, Simmie Clark III, were owners/operators of Standard Oil and Amoco Service Stations. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Simmie Clark III, to whom she was married Sept. 4, 1943, in Lancaster, Ky.; sons, Ernie Clark and wife Katherine and Russell Clark and wife Sherry, all of Richmond; nine grandchildren, Heidi Clark (David) of New Carlisle, Ohio, April Clark (Shaun) of New Carlisle, Ohio, Jameson Clark (Julie) of Richmond, Tim Jenkins (Lori) of Richmond, Tina Taylor of Richmond, Trisha Delay of Phoenix, Ariz., Jeffrey Clark (Kathy) of Glenridge, N.J., Donna Monell (Matt) of Columbus, Ohio, Katherine Lee (Leonard) of Columbus, Ohio; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Gordon Curtis and wife Evon of Lancaster, Ky.; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Myrtle Witt and Lois Boggs.
Funeral service for Beulah M. Clark will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, 2006, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road W., Richmond, with Pastor John Maples officiating. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 25, at the funeral home.
