MUNCIE - Wanda "Bea" Buskirk, 90, formerly of Muncie, IN, passed away on Monday, October 16, 2006 at Kindred Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born January 11, 1916 in Parker City, IN. Wanda was a member of the Pilot Club of Muncie, where she was a past Governor. She was also a member of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed playing golf at the Delaware Country Club where she was a member. Survivors include her daughter, Annajayne (husband - Richard) Whiteman of Flora, IN; brother, Albert Curtis of California; sister, Florence E. (husband - Norman) Smith of California; 2 grandchildren, John I. (wife - Caroll) Whiteman of Indianapolis, IN, Katrina (husband - Tim) VanDusen of Lake Village, IN, great-grandchild, Jayden VanDusen of Lake Village, IN; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents; 1 brother, John Curtis; and 2 sisters, Juanita Gray and Loretta Thomas. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, October 20, 2006 at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 North State Road 3, Muncie, Indiana with Reverend Carrie Jo Miller officiating. Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie, IN. Friends may call from 3-6 p.m. Thursday, October 19, 2006 at the funeral home.
