Eunice Lucy Curtis, 88, of Idaho Falls, died July 19, 2002, at Lily Home. She was under the care of Hospice of Eastern Idaho. She was born August 8, 1913, in Victor, Idaho, to Lucy Ward and Eli Curtis. She grew up in Victor. After high school, she graduated from the Idaho Falls School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse in 1938. Her professional career as a Registered Nurse began in private duty, and she later worked in the Medical, Obstetrics, and Central Supply departments at the LDS and Sacred Heart hospitals in Idaho Falls. She later worked as an Industrial Nurse at the Naval Reactor Facilities for 16 years before retiring in 1975. In all areas of her life, she enjoyed giving of herself and caring for people. She married Dean F. Wilkie in 1938, and they were later divorced. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held various positions.

Son: Dean C. (Jan) Wilkie, Idaho Falls
10 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded by her parents; brothers Vernon, Wesley, and Orvel Curtis; daughter Kay (Wayne) Smith; and three grandchildren. Funeral Services held July 22, 2002, at Wood Chapel of the Pines and burial was Rose Hill Cemetery
