Paul Curtis, 91, lifelong resident of Ammon, passed away May 2, 2010, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Paul was born May 20, 1918, in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Lester Curtis and Francis Mary Keefer Curtis. He attended school in Ammon and graduated from Ammon High School in 1936.
He married Iletta Montague on November 19, 1939 in Osgood, Idaho. Their marriage was solemnized on July 23, 1940 in the Logan, Utah LDS Temple. Paul worked as a dry farmer and parts manager for Rogers Brothers Potato Processing Plant retiring in 1980. Iletta preceded him in death on November 21, 1987.
Paul was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as a High Priest, Scout Master, Assistant Ward Clerk, and High Priest Secretary. He had been a member of the Lion's Club and served on the Ammon City Planning and Zoning Committee. Paul enjoyed golf, hunting, fishing, camping with the family at Pine Basin and in Teton Valley. He especially enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.

17 Grandchildren, 35 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, two brothers, one sister, one niece, and one nephew.
The family would like to thank Dr. Carl Vance and the doctors and nurses in EIRMC ICU for their kind and loving care.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 6, 2010 at Wood Funeral Home East Side Chapel, 963 S. Ammon Road, with Bishop Ryan Kohler of the Ammon LDS First Ward officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and Thursday from 10 to 10:45 a.m., both visitations at Wood East Side. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park.
