Bridget Curtin was the daughter of John Curtin and Bridget Hanley (Hannelly). She was born in Ireland. She had one sister Margaret who married Patrick Henry Galligan and two brothers Patrick Curtin who married Johanna Dorgan and John Curtin who married Margaret Healy. Bridget Curtin married Michael Boyd on May 8, 1864 in Taunton. They had two children Letitia Theresa (m Edward F. Roche) and Michael J Boyd.
