Ronald Max Curry, age 83, of Brookville, Indiana and formerly of Metamora, Indiana died Thursday, February 5, 2015 at the Brookville Healthcare Center in Brookville, Indiana.

Born March 15, 1931 in Metamora, Indiana he was the son of the late Harry & Abby (Heeb) Curry. He was a United States Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was united in marriage to the former Nelva June Allen, and she survives.

Before retirement, Max worked at the Franklin County Farm Bureau Coop for many years.

Besides his loving wife of over 64 years, Nelva June, survivors include a son & daughter-in-law, Robert & Paula Curry of Evansville, Indiana; two grandsons, Chad (Amber) Curry of Lebanon, Tennessee and Drew (Mary Beth) Curry of Ft. Bragg, North Carolina; as well as a great-grandson, Luke Curry.

Rev. Curtis Bond will officiate the Funeral Services on Saturday, February 7, 2015, 10:00 A.M., at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville. Burial with full military graveside honors by the Bernard Hurst Post #77 of the American Legion will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.

Family & friends may visit from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the services on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home in Brookville.
