Alonzo Lee Curry Jr., a former federal government worker, died Monday at his residence.
The Hattiesburg, Miss., native had resided in Mobile for the past 80 years.
Survivors include his wife, LaMerle Hood Curry of Mobile; four daughters, Joy Pose of Theodore, Shannon Weekley of Mobile, Carole Smith of Hammond, La., and LaMerle Loveland of Gainesville, Ga.; two sisters, Floda Cherry and Jewel Fail, both of Mobile; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
The funeral is set for 10 a.m. today at Pine Crest Funeral Home, with burial at Pine Crest Cemetery.
