OBITUARY
Margaret Mae Knabb, daughter of Thomas and Mary Shepherd, was born March 9, 1883, at Eskridge, Kansas, and departed this life June 24, 1947, at Tacoma, Wash. She was a member of the Presbyterian church at Tacoma. In June, 1907, she was united in marriage to Wilson Curry. To this union two daughters were born, Mrs. Dorothy Johnson, Tacoma, Wash., and Mrs. Ethel Mae Hesseltine, Seattle, Wash. Mr. Curry preceded her in death in January 1911. She was later married to Wm. Knabb, of Leavenworth, who also preceded her in death a number of years ago. Besides the daughter, she leaves two step-sons, two brothers, Amos Shepherd, McLouth, and Jess Shepherd, Leavenworth; two sisters, Mrs. Bess McPherson, Powell, Wyoming, and Mrs. Helen Highfill, Tacoma, Wash.; two grandsons, Curry and Jerry Lee Johnson, and a host of relatives and friends. She was a kind and loving mother and sister and will be greatly missed from her family circle.
Funeral services were held at the Winchester Reformed Presbyterian Church with Rev. T. M. Hutchinson, of Denison, in charge. Interment was made in the R. P. cemetery, July 2.
