Margaret was the daughter of John and Agnes (Dolan) Curran. Her parents were born in Delaware. Bruno Ariganello, a barber, and Margaret Curran were married May 5, 1941 in Wilmington, Delaware.

Margaret Curran Ariganello of Georgetown, DE, went home to our Father on Feb. 7, 2011, with her family at her side. She was 93 years old.

Margaret was born in Wilmington, DE on July 24, 1917 to the late John and Agnes Curran. She spent 8 years of her youth in Mckees Rocks, PA, before returning to DE. She graduated from Wilmington High School in 1934. She worked at H.L. Green and was in charge of the food counter.

She was a former member of St. Elizabeth's Church in Wilmington and was also a member of the Blessed Mother Sodality. She belonged to the Clarence Frames Senior Center where she taught bridge and knitting. She was also a member of the Dennison Women's' Club where she had been President and Treasurer, and a member of Mary Mother of Peace Church in Millsboro.

Margaret loved to travel, play cards, knit, and volunteer at the flower market at Rockford Park. Mostly she loved being with her family and friends for any type of gathering. She will be missed by her family and friends.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Bruno who passed away in February of 1991, and her youngest sister, Jean Jester in October of 2010. Margatet is survived by her sons, James Ariganello and his wife Rosemary of Laurel Springs, NJ, Francis Ariganello and his wife Cathy of Georgetown, a daughter, Marie Lattomus and her husband John of Georgetown; a sister, Mary Montana of Georgetown, DE; a brother-in-law, Dawson Jester of New Castle, DE; grandchildren, Judy Andrus and her husband George, Adam, Mark, and Jimmy. 3 great-granddaughters, Lizzie, Kate and Abby.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Mary Mother of Peace Roman Catholic Church on John J. Williams Highway, Millsboro, DE on Friday, Feb. 11, at 11:30 am, where friends may call after 10:30 am. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
