Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Frew, Fremont county native, were held Thursday, July 25 at 11 a. m. from the United Methodist church of Florence, with the Rev. Merton Cox officiating. Mrs. O. L. Braly and Mrs. Howard Gore, accompanied by Mrs. Dom DelDuca, sang "Beyond the Sunset" and "Good Night and Good Morning". Pallbearers wee G. D. Lanham, Orel Montgomery, Charles Cristelli, Vic Cristelli, James Fabrizio and B. W. Johnson.
Burial was in Union Highland cemetery with arrangements by the Florence Mortuary. Mrs. Frew, 79 years of age, died in a Denver hospital Tuesday, July 23, after an illness of two years, becoming serious for two days.
Born Aug. 16, 1888 at Coal Creek, she made her home there until moving to Florence 36 years ago. She was married to John Morris Frew at Canon City Oct. 21, 1907, Mr. Frew died in 1951.
Mrs. Frew was a member of the Methodist church of Florence.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Raychel Tripp and Mrs. Mollie Marie Cox, both of Aurora, four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a brother, Abe Johnson, of Florence.
