Former Stockton Woman Passes in Selma
Mrs. Ruth J. Cunningham, 75. daughter of James Thomas Bridges and Mary Jane Stokes, and a former Stockton resident, died Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. F. J. (Minnie) Mulligan, in Selma. She had been in ill health for several years.
A native of Tennessee, she came to California 38 years ago. In July she celebrated her seventy-fifth birthday with all of her children present.
The funeral was held yesterday at the Byrne Funeral Chapel in Selma.
Committal was at the West Selma Cemetery.
