Floyd Cunningham
Floyd A. Cunningham, owner and operator of Cunningham Grocery Store at 1501 Ave I since 1958, died at 9 p.m. Sunday in a Lawton hospital after a short illness.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Immanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Brooks, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Becker Funeral Home.
Mr. Cunningham was born Sept. 13, 1902 in Kaufman County, Tex., and moved here in 1924. He was married to Grace Clark at Kemp, Tex., on May 31, 1927.
Survivors include his wife of the home; a son, James Cunningham, (*Lawton); a daughter, Mrs. Sonja Whittle, Brooks, Ky.; two brothers, Luther Cunningham, (*Lawton), and C. M. Cunningham, Dallas, Tex.; a sister, Mrs. Rosella Bennett, Lawton; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
